Paddling in Morro Bay

We went kayaking. And while we were paddling we saw a sea otter.

And when we saw the sea otter he poked his head up. Then when we reached shore we jumped out. And when we were on shore it was so beautiful shells surround me.   And so many shells!   Then we went home and went to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz bed .

Oops. Sorry, Mazie Jane, for the misspelling. My little finger got overzealous on the ‘z’ key.

Hey this is Lexi and Lindsey Barnickle. Richard is grilling and we came over to watch the race and eat supper. We gave the Holts a new puppy. They named her little Ann, but are calling her Annie for short. Saw all of your amazing pictures, hope you guys are having fun! Tell Mazie Jane and Holt that Lexi & Lindsey said hi. Please email us back at Leigh Ann’s email.

Wow, Mazie Jane! Your terrfiic descriptive paragraph put pictures in my head. I can imagine the fun of seeing a cute little sea otter so close up. I’ll bet he was curious about two kids paddling around in his home waters. He probably likes people and enjoyed your visit. I hope you write again with another adventure.

Your words make me feel I was there with you! Thank you for writing and sharing your trip. I’d like to read more of your stories; smells, sounds, weather, food, everything you notice. You have such good notice skills.

    Love and hugs

    Grandpa
