Amanda,
Thanks for your enthusiasm! Your site is beautiful. This trip is absolutely the best time of our lives. I hope your family is thriving on the road too within no time.
Greetings! I found your blog quite by accident and have so enjoyed browsing through your pictures and stories from the road. I am from Pulaski and went to school with Trent. Also, my late grandfather, Morris Maultsby, and Trent’s grandmother Lilian were very close. My family and I live in Brentwood, Tennessee. We love travel and nature and all of our trips are planned around visits to National Parks. We hope one day to take journey like yours. For now, thanks so much for sharing your adventures and please tell Trent hello!
Well hello blast from the past Sandra. Thanks for commenting. Isn’t it nice to think of all the company our grandparents enjoyed in their later years. Growing old is not easy as they say, and harder yet alone. I love the idea of National Park vacations. We did seven, I think, National Parks our first year on the road, each different and wonderful. You’ll love it. Their environments are such an etching in children’s brains, things of memory for sure. Good to hear from you. Hope your doing well. Trent
Trent,
Another Pulaski person here. We are Carrie and Rhonda’s parents. We went to school with your parents. Love those two folks. lol Wayne and I ride a Goldwing Motorcycle and have a camper that we pull behind. It has a queen size bed and a 3 X 5 dressing room. We have been in every state in the lower 48 and 5 Canadian Providences. I understand about camping and the elements. We have gone from short sleeves to snow in 30 min. The last time we left Ann Hays in Co. it was 32 degrees and snow/rain. We have heated suits or I could not ride in that weather. It rained on us for 3 days. Had to ride…had to return to work. Wayne had a serious heart problem 3 years ago so we may not be able to take anymore long trips. You are doing what we planned to do when we retired. So glad you are enjoying yourself and sharing the experience others. Reading this has brought back alot of memories of the 260,000 plus miles we have on our bike.
Sincerely,
Pam Stafford
